In a pencil note at the top this page credited to Jack Kirby and Mort Meskin. It is unclear who would have done what on the page but Meskin's hand is evident. This page is also credited as coming from Western Tales #32. Western Tales (published in 1955/56) contained reprints from the earlier Simon and Kirby Crestwood Studio book Boy's Ranch (1950/51) from around 1950.
